Art Festival in CHOURAKUKAN [Ends Sun, Sep 29, 2024].

Built in the Meiji era (1868-1912) by Kibei Murai, a rare businessman, Chorakukan, a guesthouse in Kyoto, served as a bridge between the world and Japanese art and culture as it welcomed a variety of guests from Japan and abroad.
It is also our mission to take care of this Chorakukan.

This year marks the third year of the "Art Festival in CHOURAKUKAN" held in the autumn of art and culture.
The theme of this year's Art Festival is "Weaving Thoughts.
The event will offer a special experience at the intersection of food and art and culture, including a one-night-only dinner collaboration between the renowned Japanese restaurant "Soshokui Nakahigashi" and "LE CHENE" at Chorakukan.
The thoughts of the producers and chefs, the passion of the artists, and the wishes of the future culture bearers - these thoughts are united to create a special day.
