• Chion-in, the head temple of the Jodo sect, has many buildings designated as national treasures or important cultural properties.
  The special viewing includes the Daihojo and Kohojo, which are usually closed to the public, the Sutra Repository, and the large bell tower, famous for the New Year's bell,
  Then, a priest will take you to the inner sanctum area of the National Treasure, Mikageido, which is normally inaccessible.
  Visitors can also experience the tea ceremony at Hojo and enjoy the Hojo Garden, designated as a national scenic beauty spot.
