Orikami coffered ceiling (usually closed to the public) [Onari-no-Ma].

Fold-up coffered ceilings are used for ceilings in prestigious rooms such as temple buildings and shoin-style buildings.
This refers to a ceiling latticework of wood that is folded up one step higher in the center of the latticework by means of a curved latticework.
The chandelier is the same design as LE CHENE's room, made by Baccarat of France.
The latticework is finished in black lacquer, and the metal fittings that join the latticework are decorated with the Murai family crest, "mitsukashiwa" (three oak leaves) on a circle.
The ceiling, like the walls and sliding doors, is decorated with gold paintings, giving it an opulent atmosphere.
