01 Guest House in Kyoto

A hundred years ago, a hundred years to the day

Chourakukan was built in 1909 by businessman Kichibei Murai,
As a State guesthouse in Kyoto, it has welcomed a variety of guests from Japan and abroad.

One hundred years to date, and one hundred years to come.
The pavilion still preserves its splendid history, and you will be surrounded by the same sense of fulfillment as in those days.
